this is the perpetually-semicomplete digital archive

of our music, music videos and everything musical, up to and including Cirque Yelb

in numbers terms, this is largely an archival page.

throughout my years as a writing, recording and performing musician, i often filled the additional role of archivist.

because of this, i possess more recordings than will likely ever be uploaded, let alone digitized in the first place.

current backlog of digitized content awaiting review/revision/upload: at least a dozen hours

current backlog of undigitized content (like 4-track tapes from hard-to-find machines we no longer own): dozens and dozens of hours

that all being said, given the span of years, bodies of work, and cast of characters already well represented here, new soundwork is priority one.

if you have in your possession some relevant content you would like included here–photos, show posters, audio, video–please jump to this form

 Turkey Fister

credit to Ian MacKaye of Washington, D.C. for the rant i deliver somewhere in the middle of this video. i never witnessed an incident the exact way i saw him tell it once in a different video, although i have seen similar incidents. but i decided to reenact MacKaye’s delivery at this Turkey Fister show for whatever reason—as he said to me in an email once, “we all drink from the same cup”. so i doubt he would give a shit. nonetheless…credit due.
